— My umbrella “wiggles” or moves in light breezes. Is this normal?

• Yes. The Specialty Offset umbrella is designed to “give” slightly or float like a butterfly in light winds. This “give” prevents the umbrella from breaking. DO NOT leave your umbrella up in gusting or strong winds.

— Why does the velcro seam on the canopy separate as I open the umbrella?

• The seam is separating because the umbrella is over stretched. Do not over crank the umbrella. If the problem persists, contact our customer service department toll free at 800-922-4760

— My umbrella turns or rotates to the side in gentle winds. What can I do to stop this?

• Make sure both rotation bolts have been tighten with the provided tool. Also, be sure the umbrella base and legs are on a level surface.

— I would like to install my umbrella on my wood deck. How do I do this?

• The Specialty Offset umbrella can be installed on many surfaces. Due to the variety of mounting surfaces and hardware necessary, we can not recommend specific hardware or installation procedures.

— I would like to clean my umbrella. What is the best way to do this?

• Simply, clean the umbrella with a soft brush and mild detergent. DO NOT machine wash the umbrella canopy, this will remove the ScotchGuard™ protective coating
