You will need to obtain, from your local building department, a "pounds per square foot" load requirement as well as a "miles per hour" wind load requirement. We use these numbers to determine which thickness of panel you need (we have 3).
**As you can see, the above numbers are VERY important for both safety and so that you are not paying for more than you need!
Measuring (see diagrams for terminology)
-
We will need a back wall height measurement - either how high on your house wall will you be attaching your
screen room roof or the ground to eave measurement if attaching to the front
fascia board
-
We will need your desired projection and width. If you are covering the entire deck, we suggest a 1' overhang on both sides and the front. There is a a 6" minimum requirement and a maximum of 2'.
-
We will need to know if you have a chimney work-around with all the measurements. Extra inside and outside corners will be provided.
-
Indicate on your drawing where you would like the door and give a measurement relative to a corner or to a house wall.
-
Indicate whether you desire a kickplate option. You can have no kickplate, or an 18' or 24" tall kickplate
Color Choices:
Roof Panels - WHITE
Screen Frame - WHITE, CLAY & BRONZE
Fascia Gutter & Side fascia - WHITE, CLAY & BRONZE

Not Included in our Kits:
-
Downspouts are not included. Let us know if you require them. They are $35.00 for a basic 8' assembly. They are easily picked up locally and this would give you the freedom to create the shape you need.
-
Flashing is not included. When doing a fascia board mount, you will need to flash 3" under the shingles and about 12" out onto your roof. On a wall mount, "L" flashing would go under the siding and again about 12" out onto your patio cover.
-
Hardware to attach the back-wall C channel to house wall or fascia board is not included.

Most of our screen enclosures are designed for 3 season use and are the
ultimate in low-maintenance sun rooms. Strong aluminum framing with
screens from top to bottom gives maximum sun and bug protection. Spa
covers, hard top screen rooms and gazebos round the line of backyard
patio, porch and screen enclosures.
We carry over 100 different combinations of gazebos in sizes and
colors designed to fit most decks and patios. If you don't see it
here, call us, we will be pleased to advise and assist.
ScreenHouses Unlimited
provides you with the widest selection of spa
covers, sunrooms and gazebos in the world. We represent several
manufacturers and can offer you the widest choice in screened patio
room styles and prices. To protect yourself from West Nile Virus add
a screened enclosure to your deck or patio and start enjoying the
outdoors, without the mosquitoes, as well as with protection from
the sun, wind and rain.
We give you the advantage of an additional room to your house,
without the high cost of construction. These spa covers and 3 season
sun rooms are not generally considered a permanent room, and so you
may not need building permits or contractors and you should not have
an increase in property taxes.
